I’m based in Fife, married and have two grandchildren – you might say I’m a late starter! I’ve been a student at Leith School of Art for almost six years now. My first encounter with LSA was a Summer School in 2010, and in 5 days I was hooked! Why had I never done this before?!
I work in graphite on paper, and more recently in acrylic and oil on board, but I have also experimented with printmaking, and love the unexpected results this can bring.
My work explores a sense of mystery and stillness, solitude and emptiness, and I have deep questions about our place in the world.
I went on a Vision Quest in the Arizona Desert in October 2015, and am still processing what this will mean for my art.
